Maybe the weight loss is primarily caused by the diarrhea and not by the carnivore diet itself? I prefer to eat a "normal" diet: meat+vegetables+carbohydrates + a few supplements like vitamin D3 in the winter, etc. works fine!

It's hard to watch this when you know a lot about the health benefits of eating animal and fat only. Joe doesn't give true facts, sadly. BTW, I never had the "explosive diarrhea" that he warns about. (It doesn't happen to everyone.) I worked with a clinic that cures many horrible western world diseases with regularity. I've eaten this way for a long time with only benefits and no ill effects. I have taken ZERO vitamins or minerals because the physicians I worked with made it clear that those could keep me from resolving all my autoimmune disorders. Getting off of medication is a plus. Do your own research so you know the science. There's plenty scientific data available.

6 days on and 1 day of f with carbs kicks your body out of realizing the benefits of eating the proper human diet of ‘no carbs’ but is much better than every day with carbs !

Leaner meat takes more energy to process with less caloric value, fat adds a lot of calories for very little.

Come on it's not all fat. A low carb diet will make u lose muscle glycogen & water hence the so called leaner look. Bodybuilders will also do the same thing before a show or photoshoot.

As a person with celiac disease, carnivore is the only way for me to go on with my life. Im looking like im on a cut all year round but still im pushing new PB's in weight lifting and my sprints are getting faster and im growing stronger than when I ate carbohydrates. I sleep like a baby, havent woken up a single time during the night. I usually fast from 6pm to 8am.

If it's the perfect diet why all the supplements? Why not go plant based and eat no supplements, it better for the animals, environment and your health.

I eat a lot of game meat. Typically big game has enough fat but the problem is a lot of it is trimmed off by meat cutters. Also, some fat in the animal's body cavity that gets left in the woods during gutting.

Makes no sense. Why would you take aminoacids if you are eating meat. The meat had plenty of it.

Sounds like Mr. Rogan has a gluten sensitivity. Other grains don't cause aches and pains for me personally, but gluten pretty much flattens me! It makes me very tired, foggy mind, physical aches and pains, stress and even sweaty feet. The best way to find out which foods do what is a process of elimination. Try this with dairy too...
Why the fuck are you taking amino acids on an all meat diet??? Why the fuck should anyone listen to you? You don't even know how the fuck nutrition works! Lmaooooo

I have noticed that after eating my deer meat I will usually feal less aches and pains the next few days, I also feel like I think clearer, and have alot more energy. I don't know if I have a problem keeping iron in my body or what, but it seems like something in it makes me feel healthier.

The right kind of meat is key. I went on a diet that substituted meat in favor of nuts and legumes. I noticed my energy level plummeted along with my libido. I did get leaner even though at the sake of muscle mass. So it was a trade off. Anyway, I said no more of that and stickied to lean protein and intermittent fasting. I haven't looked back worked for me more ways than one.

Most people who don't thrive plant-based either don't get enough calories, do extended fasts, or have gut issues.

Inflammation from eating nothing but MEAT!! Sorry, but I used to have a ton of respect for Joe and he seemed like a smart fella, but this carnivore diet is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. Pure stupidity.

Rogan & Dr Baker will both end up very sick eating this way. The kidneys & liver are under major stress eating like this. Just a matter of time before the problems occur.

@gullars83.... yes they survive on purely animal flesh, fat and meat. But they also drink the blood of an animal, which has an alkaline effect in the body. However their life expectancy is only 40/50 years at most. I know what diet i prefer 😂

Frank Tufano?? 😂 don’t make me laugh 😆 he’s a faker and look at the state of him anyway! He knows absolutely zero about nutrition and health. People are so dumb. Where are our claws? And would they not also be retractable of we were supposed to be hunters? Where is our fur? Our mains? Why do we stand upright and not on all fours, prowling through the grass to creep up on unsuspecting prey? And where are our flesh tearing teeth? Why do we have these chomping grinding teeth and have to chew our food as opposed to tearing and swallowing? Think about it.... we are herbivores. We work more efficiently on natural unprocessed carbohydrates better than any other food on earth.

Dear Joe, How can you go on a meat diet after watching such a documentary: Meat increases your chance of heart attack, highers your blood pressure and cholesterol and all you ingest all the shit the poor animals ingest. I still don't understand why Joe Rogan is such a big fan of meat after all these podcasts he has done. It decreases your performance and degrades your health.

This will undoubtedly prove a fad, like many of these popular diets that seem to emerge and trend every so few years. Keto a few years ago, for example, became all the rage. Before it started to get popular it was being tooted like the Carnivore Diet is now. Then turns out the studies on the effect of being on a long-term Keto Diet show that it's not a very healthy thing to do: including increasing your risk of CVD, immune system, and even reduction of muscle recovery and strength. There is usually some cult-like figure that kick-starts off these trends and as nearly as I can tell Jordon Peterson's personal story on how being on a Carnivore Diet helped him seemed to have trickled across the internet, mostly here on ISvid. But regardless if it was Jordon who might have popularized the Carnivore Diet, he had legitimate health reason to do this and the benefits outweighed the risks. But for the vast majority of us who are not allergic to vegetables, especially of the cruciferous kind, eschewing them is probably a very bad idea for a variety of reasons. First, they supply fiber and many essential nutrients not readily found in meat alone. Humans evolved as omnivores, meaning we are capable of eating and digesting both meat as well as fruits and vegetables, and this fact no doubt reflects our evolutionary dietary history that in turn has dictated the sources of our nutritional needs. While I think you can be a healthy vegan, you better be well-read on the matter to ensure you get all the nutrients you need. But I think being on an all-meat diet every day, year in and year out is probably dangerous for the long-term health of most people and the science will most likely bear this out. Stick to what's proven the most healthy: a low-carb, moderate meat diet with fruit and vegetable like the Mediterranean or "Paleo" diet. We evolved to eat legumes, nuts, fruits, and vegetables, which where the staple of our evolutionary diet. While our ancestors chased down Wooly Mammoths, it was undoubtedly not a nightly occurrence with them eating every day at the Paleolithic equivalent of an all-you-can-eat Arby's. Your body violently expelling diarrhea, as reported by many on the Carnivore Diet, doesn't sound so much as some "adjustment" period as claimed by Joe but the body's maladaptive response to an ill-advised digestive situation it is then forced to adapt and goes against eons of selective evolutionary pressure. Yeah, passing on this but will tune in say four years to check on Joe.

Why would you want to promote eating more meat? Im not against eating meat but its sacred. This is glutony, meat is not only worse on the enviornment but when your eating meat from a slaughter house or any animal you are also eating there pain too. Energy can never be destroyed only transfered. Do you really want to take on the energy of an animal thats been spending its life scrunched in a box?
